The Concerned Citizens' Council is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation formed in 1986 as a coalition of civic, religious, legal and professional African American organizations in partnership with the community to serve as an advocate for children and families. The Council has been involved in advocacy services in public education, foster care and adoption, juvenile justice, youth violence, equal opportunity in public and private sectors, mentoring, tutoring, counseling and recreation for inner city youth. |
